Well if you want only dictate on documents than Dragon Home is good for you but if you want to dictate medical terms than you need Dragon Professional Individual 15.6 or you can go for Medical Edition Practice 4.
Dragon Professional Individual is big software than dragon home. In Dragon home you can only dictate but in dragon pro you can customize vocabulary as well as you can create your own vocabulary. For discount you need to contact nuance tech support.
I am similarly using Dragon 6.0.8 to dictate this on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6, although I do have to make a few corrections. It works well in every application except Safari. As a physician, I depend on Dragon every day for dictation for medical records. For some reason, it works well on every computer I have except the iMac at my office, which is also running 10.14.6, but it crashes every time I open it with the same error message described above by Scott Baker.
I am looking to purchase Dragon for Mac from a third-party as I realize Nuance no longer sells it. If anyone is selling a used (or new?) version of dragon dictate for Mac please comment here and we can exchange contact info somehow. One company is selling version 5 on eBay, but they are new retail boxes, which I believe would require a new serial number, which I believe are now impossible to register with Nuance. I purchased nuance 2.0 dragon dictate for Mac. I can not get the computer to recognize the microphone provided by nuance. This microphone is recognized by my dell computer. How can I get the mac book pro to recognize this microphone?
I downloaded the add-on from that link, but it's not working in Firefox at all. I still have to dictate the text into the Dragon pad, then click transfer to get it to go into the browser window. The Dragon web extension used to work quite well in Firefox, I have no idea why it isn't working now. 2b1af7f3a8
